European Space Agency salutes Shenzhou V

The European Space Agency, or ESA, has congratulated China on Wednesday's launch, and space flight. The ESA Director General said the mission shows the reliability of China's aerospace technology and could open a new era of cooperation in the world space community. Jean-Jacques Dordain added that the way is now open for reciprocal exchanges between scientists in China and Europe, and for broad cooperation between the ESA and the Chinese government.
